UX is a vast field today I continue learning through vast forums like reading books, doing my graduate diploma, courses, youtube and I also spend time to network. When you are applying for jobs try to get some feedback from your portfolio and what makes you a true candidate is user research skills, problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Connect with ADPList mentors (adplist.org) or otherwise and learn from them. If you are a senior ux designer transitioning to leads roles I would suggest to learn about user story mapping and contribute to UX strategy. Have the right mindset to learn from every stakeholder whether it is your junior employee or a senior employee. If your company is doing UI , you will have the responsibility to teach your colleagues about the different ux aspects, get their buy-in so that you can execute your learnings in activities and show the value.
